Pope Francis
A Shepherd to the Marginalized, A Voice for the Poor
With hearts full of sorrow and gratitude, we join the global Church in mourning the passing of Pope Francis, a humble servant of Christ who dedicated his life to lifting up the forgotten, healing the broken, and walking alongside the poor and marginalized. His papacy was marked by compassion, simplicity, and an unwavering commitment to the Gospel message of love and justice.
In his words and his actions, Pope Francis reminded us that "the Church is called to be the house of the Father, with doors always wide open." He lived that call—reaching out to those on the margins, advocating for the dignity of every person, and challenging us all to care for creation and one another.
