April the 14th.
Scripture tells us that the disciples and the apostles were excited by the reality of Jesus' resurrection. They didn't know how to react to it.
It brought them challenges, as we see in today's reading from the Acts of the Apostles. It also brought them great joy as we hear in John's gospel.
As we reflect on the many aspects of the resurrection this year, we should take time to process the effect that it has in our own lives. Its mystery draws us in. Its joy gives us energy. Its power makes us want to know more about it.
All of this gives motivation to our journey of return to hope.
Lord make my walk with you this year a meaningful and powerful reality.
