Listen As A Podcast

   April the 5th.

Today's gospel reading tells us that the apostles prepared for the Passover. That invites us to do the same.

The next three days recall the great event of the way God visited his people in Egypt and freed them from slavery. This year, our Jewish sisters and brothers celebrate this event at the same time we do.

Our celebration recalls the ancient happening and the way in which Jesus, by his passion, death and resurrection brought freedom from slavery of sin into this world.

We are about to celebrate the new Passover and all that it means for each of us. Take some time to reflect on and appreciate the momentous event that we celebrate.
