April the 27th.
Both scripture passages today refer to understanding the word of God. As we receive it, we often struggle to understand it.
Most of the time we are left thinking we should have understood much more Often, what we come to understand leaves us in awe of the great amount that we still do, not understand. Such was the case in both readings today.
As we progress on our return to hope, there are surely things we have understood better this year. We thank God for them and we make use of them in our lives.
We should also be motivated to move forward to grasp those things which still wait for us to understand.
