April the 28th.
Today we marked the 60th day of on our Return to Hope!
Two-thirds of our journey is now complete.
The readings both speak once again of understanding. Ananais didn't understand why he was being sent to heal Saul. Saul struggled to understand what had happened to him on the trip to Damascus. The people in the gospel narration struggle to understand the revelation Jesus was sharing with them about his future gift of the Eucharist.
All these cast light upon our journey. It is one of deepening faith. We believe, yet we are always called to deepen our understanding of those things that we believe.
Our journey opens our way to this. It prepares us to do it more effectively.
