Listen As A Podcast

 May the 21st.

The first reading today speaks to us of what the disciples did after Jesus had departed from them. It says they gathered together in prayer.

As we enter this last week of our journey of return to hope, it points us in a very positive direction once again. They surely voiced their needs and their cares to a loving God. But they also spent time listening and discerning.

They were open and flexible as individuals and as a community. They made way for the power and love of God to work in and through them. They came to know that God is all powerful only if we don't stand in his way.

What a great example for us at this moment in our lives.
