March the 4th.
Our return to hope is indeed a time of learning. In the first reading today, Moses asked the people to reflect on what they had learned. In the gospel, Jesus invites His disciples to stop and consider what His teachings meant for them.
As we pass 10 days of our journey, we could ask ourselves if we have come to know ourselves and God any better through prayer. We know that in our life journey, speaking with someone is often a very revealing moment. We get to know them, and very often ourselves, much better. Why would it not be so when we converse with God?
Take our reflection this week and let them grow as our Lent moves forward.
Holy Spirit, be the font and support of my prayer.
