The Old Testament reading today invites the people to be a forgiving people. The gospel proclaims that we are called to love both God and neighbor.
The greatest act of love and the truest manifestation of it is forgiveness. Our journey underlines this for us. Take time this lent to look into your life and your relations.
Are there things that need to be forgiven? Are there instances where the forgiveness already given needs completion. Are there resentments that need attention?
Now is the moment! Let us make the effort so that the love which we profess can become more perfect.
