Listen As A Podcast

 May the 25th.

The prayer of Jesus cited in the gospel reading today is most inspiring and encouraging for us as we make our return to hope.

Jesus prayed for his disciples, but he says that he also prays for those who would follow them and come to believe because of them. That is you and me!

He prays that we may know that we are loved and cared for by God our father. He prays that we may be one with him and with each other. In a world marked by such great lack of love and multifaceted division, that is a great truth to grasp.

It gives life to the hope to which each one of us clings.
