Listen As A Podcast

April the 21st.

The very familiar account of the multiplication of the loaves and fish gives us much food for thought.

The apostles felt overwhelmed by the prospect of meeting the hunger needs of all those people. Jesus counseled them to start with the mere amount that they had and see what they could do. The result was the satisfaction of all, and moreover, the abundant leftovers.

As we make our life's journey, there are many things we face and feel just as inadequate as the apostles felt on that day. Jesus counsels us to look to what we have and to start with that. He knows our needs. He stands by us and will see us through each situation.

Loving Savior, be with me and see me through the challenges of my journey.
